First light!
Tonight I got my first proper look through my scope using a Pan 27mm.
I had her pointed at a black area of the sky, seemingly devoid of stars. But when I looked in the EP the field of view was full of them. This is a very promising start!! By then the clouds started rolling in and I had to pack up.
My 7.5mm and 6mm EP's dont quite come to focus yet so I need to trim the poles slightly. I also need to get a shroud for her and make up a stalk for the Argo Navis unit. Other than that, she's almost done!
Will post a proper first light report when the weather permits!!
