A question about the L-Extreme filter & ASI294

Hi all,

I have a couple of questions for the community regarding images I took with my ASI294MC Pro and L-Extreme filter. I've read that the 294 doesn't do that well with HA.

I've attached the image which is a stack of 50 light frames taken at gain 121, offset 30 and 180sec each. No calibration frames have been added (yet).

My questions are:

1. Is the haloing around the two brightest stars normal with this filter?
2. There's what looks like HA nebulosity on the left hand side of the image. Is this normal?

Apologies for the basic questions but I've only used a LPR filter up to now, so am finding my way with this new filter.

Many thanks.

Rene
