An astronomer must eat.
I could give you some simple recipes for wholesome snackfood made for astronomers to eat while observing. You would want food that would keep you alert.
Sausages would probably be too much, but simple food such as burgers eaten hot or cold would be fine.
Not many astronomers would want to eat greasy food, it gets on the fingers and then gets on the equipment.
I will work on some recipes that have little or no fat in them, but will keep one alert through the night.
