Thanks Peter. For mixing the colour palette, I used the following pixel math formula in Pixinsight:
Red: SII*.6+Ha*.4
Gre: OIII*.4+Ha*.3+SII*.3
Blu: OIII
I find that this gives me a good starting point and avoids a lot of the green cast from the standard SHO palette. I also adjust the hue some using the curves tool to push the colours towards a final rendition that appeals to my eye whilst maintaining a distinction between the various emission lines.
