IC2220 Toby Jug

While I have been imaging some long integration targets, I have also been picking up data on a few shorter integration targets such as the Toby Jug nebula.

At first glance this object would appear to be a planetary nebula but it is not the case apparently. It is a bipolar and biconical nebula which is illuminated by the central star.

Also of interest are the back ground galaxies which are close enough to see some detail in them.

The image contains 14.5 hours of integration. To get sharper detail I had to take a series of 2 minute exposures for the core.
