What f/l scope are you using ? I recently shot Gabriel with my 800mm and I had a fair bit more room around the pair. I agree having the cluster in the frame really adds to the shot but I’d probably try and push it to the top left and not worry about the nebulosity around it and that will bring Gabriel closer to center as the main feature. Framing really is a subjective thing though so take my advice with a grain of salt.
