lagoon

imaged lagoon tonight, i had other things in mind, but i caught the mikyway as i set up early, so i though id have a go at something in that region, so i had a go at the lagoon nebular

i got around to seting up my dew zapper, pretty much all of my shots have been through dew on the refractors front lens allthough i think they still came out allright, just a tiny bit blurry.

on tuesday i prepared a power suply for the dew zapper and set up that night to find that my illuminated rectile was out of batteries so i had to pack up as i didnt have any spares, ive got some spares now though.

so this is my first offical dewless photograph

allthough it is at iso 1600, i have imaged orion nebula last week (with dew) at iso 800, it came out quite burry cause of the dew but i could see there is a good difference in the levels of less noise. just wanted to see more!!!

by the way, my imaging session was interupted by clouds and i only got 8shots in before the clouds took over

but overall im quite satisfied with this, and i am really looking forward to my next imaging session

8 x 115seconds iso 1600
