Alex, grim news however in a small way i can be of some help. Recently I had a bone marrow transplant, very heavy chemo as all the bone marrow needs to be knocked off prior to receiving the transplant.
Shave off all your hair, beard, head. Shaving now will give the skin a little time to toughen-up prior to chemo.
Shaving now will mean less scabbing and general horriblness. Make the razor your friend, you'll have a much better time of it.... Clear Sky's
