Tarantula Nebula

Hi everyone,

The weather has been poor for sometime, however, I was up late
Monday night, (08.03.21), and the clouds seemed to be clearing.

I quickly setup, but the time I was ready, Orion had all but dipped
below the tree line, which was a shame, as I was looking forward to
imaging it again.............again...........a gain............

It was about 2.00 am, when the clouds finally disappeared.

I set my sights on The Tarantula Nebula.

Details as follows:

29 x 60 second exposures
ISO 1800
Modded Canon 1100D
No filters
Orion EON 110mm f6
Field flattener
Sykwatcher HEQ5 Pro
No guiding
Images captured in Astro Photography Tools
Stacked in Deep Sky Stacker
Processed in Deep Sky Stacker and Windows Live Photo Gallery

Two images:

Original wide field and cropped frame.

A few artifacts, but I am pleased with the results.

Thank you for looking.

Comments welcomed.
