NGC300 - Good tidings to all.

Hope we all enjoyed yesterday and not to many sore heads (or stomachs)!

To the attached image.

I have learnt that astro photography can come back and bite you.

You have it all working, and complacency sets in...

It was the only clear night in months so set to gathering Luminance data.

Slewed and centred on target, all good.

PHD reported polar alignment was out, scope must have been hit by washing on the line, or an inquisitive possum.

No worries, went out and adjusted the altitude bolts, fixed.

So we forgot to re centre the target, OOPS.

NGC30 now sits top right of frame, and went a bit fuzzy.

Live and learn...
