I'm not sure what is going on, but assume that due to COVID 19 and lack of supply, people are desperate to buy stuff....
That is judging by the posts on the classifieds.
1. Often times items are overpriced, in fact sometimes the same or more than what can be had from the supplier, shipped.
2. It seems that the buyer must be privileged to buy the stuff, with adds that stipulate local pickup within a 5m geolocation. Heaven forbid that you might want it shipped....OK will ship, but because its a privilege to buy from me, you must organise all the packaging, sending etc. Ok Ok Ok I will dump the stuff that you've been privileged to pay for, at a courier of your choice, but you have to organise it....ALL.
3. I consider our hobby, a hobby, I never NEED anything for it, just WANT things on occasion (frequently
), but why would I buy from anyone that forgets that they are the seller wanting to sell something.
I NEVER RANT, but there is always an exception to every rule
