Yes it did get worse, I was trying to image Mars around 11:00 / 12:00 and gave up because the seeing was crap and then lots of misty cloud kept moving over as well. No doubt sent down from Sydney.
As is usual this time of the year, the humidity is high so lots of moisture in the air promoting more sky glow.
