Impressive result using a technique not seen here very often, using a compact camera. Most will give it a go with their mobile phone and usually on the moon. You've taken it further by using the little Canon S110 afocally on a planet and proved this form of astrophotography not only works but also produces great results. Combining the images from two cameras is an interesting method to improve the detail. Well done!
