DESCRIPTION
PaStDr5 is a probable new planetary nebula in the constellation Lyra, in the center of the large Lyra-HII region.
Discovered by Marcel Drechsler, Xavier Strottner and Dana Patchick and impressively photographed by Markus Blauensteiner.
The nebula shows a very prominent blue OIII bubble, surrounded by H-alpha filaments and resembling a pearl.
The potential central white dwarf (mag 16.8) has very good properties and is most likely the source of the ionization of the structure.
