Silly question and no offence intended but I’m assuming you know how to do the following fundamentals before even worrying about remote telescope control -
1/ Align and set your tripod to True South
2/ Set your telescope mount head to Home Position
3/ Balance your telescope
4/ Polar align your telescope
5/ Operate your telescope using the handcontroller
6/ Have a basic understanding of the night sky and location of stars and celestial objects
7/ Frame and focus objects
And so on......
