The ROI for Mars+moons was much larger than for the planet itself, 1184x422 pixels vs 232x224 for just the planet. The Uranus+moons image had an ROI of 976x742 pixels.

Thanks for that. Mars peaks at 50 degrees here. I'll look for Uranus and try it tomorrow night if it's clear.
40 degrees sounds good.
PS: actually Stellarium says 42 degrees. It's late in the night though.
