I think you might have been pushing the limits of your mount with that scope

I did a narrowband image of Eta Carina with an FS-60 from my backyard in Brisbane with the same camera. Lots of exposure certainly makes up for the small aperture - it's definitely punching above it's weight.
Never realised there was so much nebulosity beside the Veil - something to add to the imaging agenda for next year.
