I use DSS too but only to stack , my stacked image is left pure linear not tweaked at all as Startools require clean linear data to allow it to maximise processing opportunities and maximise the dynamics of the captured data
Being in suburban Bortle 8 Sydney ( population 5.3 million ) with both light and air pollution, Startools is a real life saver when it comes to removing gradients and associated noise and extracting useful data
