M16 Eagle Nebula in OSC Narrowband
Perfect night in Sydney last night to try my new ZWOASI2600MC and ZWO 2” Duo band filter
Chose M16 Eagle as it allowed my scope to point away from neighbours flood lights plus I’ve only imaged this object once this year
6” f6 Bintel GSO newt on an EQ6-R mount
ZWOASI2600MC Camera with Baader coma corrector and ZWO 2” Duo band filter
Bortle 8 skies
Ascom Camera control ( Highest Dynamic Range, Gain 0 )
Camera cooled to -10C
Orion 60mm guide scope with helical focuser and ZWOASI120MM-S USB3 guide camera
40 x 2 minute dithered guided subs
15 x darks ( don’t really need darks with this new camera )
PHD2 guiding at 0.80 to 0.90 arc sec error total
Goto and tracking EQMOD, StellariumScope and Stellarium
Frame , Focus and Capture APT
Stacked in DSS
Processed in Startools V1.5 Composite mode for OSC linear Bayered not white balanced
