Hi Dunk; actually, according to our guide, they are not aggressive toward
us, preferring to hide. The flashlight surprised this one, and it remained absolutely still, before scuttling off when the flashlight swung away from it.
Hi Ray, no, this is your standard common or garden variety of tarantula, about 130mm across; the bird eaters are around 180-210mm.
