Tak FC100 DC focus problems.
Hi folks.
I have the above scope with a Baader 2"BBHS diagonal. Very limited in travel wont allow me to bring a set of TV possls to focus.
Someone kindly suggested a prism with a shorter light path might help.
I emailed the Aust Tak importer/distributor and explained my problem and asked if he sold an adaptor that would fix my problem.
He email back saying I needed part number TKA 36420 which is a clam shell type tube holder for the TSA-120 or FSQ-106ED.
I emailed back saying I wasn't after a tube holder and again told him the problem and again asked if he sold an adaptor.
I then got a very short reply from some other person saying they only give technical information to established customers.
I emailed back saying I can't become an established customer if they won't tell me what adaptor I need and sell me one.
Haven't heard a thing since.
As the importer has proven to be totally useless solving my problem I wonder if any of you good folk have any ideas?
