Thanks everyone. And I must thank Startools.
All the subs were just so noisy my only reaction was to throw them away.
Where things improved was following Martin's comment about autodevelop and having the software developer himself point me in the right direction re LRGB...as I practice I will bring my images to a more subtle style I expect but I am so happy to now be able to bring out more detail than before.
Thanks everyone I am glad you like it in spite of only half of it making it ...but to see the image in StarTools shed it's noise like a tired skin is just so neat...every other noise reduction just seems to destroy detail but not with StarTools as far as I use it and I use it hard ..just think of the noise in stuff where gain settings are 2x 3x recommended settings...
