Thanks all. To think this is only a tiny area of the Milky Way. Shows the incredible numbers of stars in the Milky Way galaxy. I remember not long after I got my 10 inch scope back in 1986, and looking at that area visually with a 32mm eyepiece, I could just start to see a "grainness" which I thought was the massive starclouds on the brink of being resolved, I could barely imagine being able to bring that out photographically at the time. Amazing how newer technology brings new life to old telescopes
