Thanks Peter. In due course I'll be redoing this one with more attention to the flats and repost it but it won't be that much different. I love these galaxies with huge halos. So extensive.

What exposure time are you using with the camera? I got a QHY183M not too long ago but I haven't had a chance to take it under dark skies for RGB images yet. |
I used 2 different lengths, 300 and 600 seconds. Mostly 600 seconds at -25C.
I know a lot of places say you don't need to go below -10C but that is only looking at dark noise. Read noise can also drop with temperature.
