My old 6” newt and old DSLR is a great combo for Lunar and Planetary work
It’s challenging changing over all those Powermates and adapters during a Lunar imaging session , especially when you have to remove the DSLR from the focuser still tethered with power and data cables in one hand and screw in all those heavy Powermates and adapters whilst the mounts still tracking. It’s a real juggling act but sometimes it’s a welcome change from long exposure AP imaging DSO’s etc
The Lunar terrain images turned out much better than expected. It really is “lucky imaging” at that resolution
