Hi Alex. I have been using the trial version of Startools for a week or so now just for fun using free data off the net. (Joe Mitsy's 32" Ritchey Chretien). You cant save the images being a trial but not my images anyway.
I dont have a camera or really the time to do my own now but getting a kick out of learning a bit anyhow. Startools works well without having to tweak too much and are a good company focused on promoting astro more than about the dollar (great price for what you get). The demo is free for a long as you want so if I do end up with the gear I'll have a head start on the processing. Startools seems perfect for the imager who hasn't the time (or money) for the more complicated programs. Having fun with it.
