The Little Gem

This is the latest image out of Clayton Observatories. This is an image of NGC6445 (the Little Gem, a planetary nebula) and NGC6440 (a globular cluster). The nebula is located at a distance of 4500 light years. The globular is about 27,700 light years away. It is partially darkened and tinted by the intervening dust of the Milky Way arms.
