Ahhh, thanks so much, everyone! You guys continue to be a huge source of motivation, encouragement and inspiration.
I was almost in tears when I saw the first guided sub pop up, looking crispy
It reminded me of the feeling I had with first image i got of orion nebula, magic!
At the end of the session I was getting a bit of dew on the lens, so i turned to lobster neb and took 3 x 600s exposures, one for each band, just to see if there was a ceiling on how long I could expose for. They also came out just fine, though possibly dewy. Nice to have some data to play with during the upcoming rubbish nights!
