Yeah. i saw that on the news...i don't think people are going to forget that soon. Anyway, it will be good to hear from an astrophysicist. If my maths has been better that would have been a possible career path. As it is i ended up a middle manager in the public service :-) But i have employed an astronomy PhD as a data analyst. And i know of many others that ended up in that sort of work...transferable skills and all that. Kudos for fessing up to the magnets thing.
