I've had a few enquiries but nothing definite yet so I've reduced the price to motivate - now $3,000 for the mount head, encoders, counterweights, pier and legs. An additional $500 for the FS2 that will make it GoTo etc. The only thing I don't have are cables that connect the encoders to the FS2 but they should be pretty easy to obtain or get made (they are kinda like Ethernet cables, check chapter 6.3 of the FS2 manual). The Alhena has a larger payload capacity than an EQ8-R! Own a beautiful example of Australian engineering. For me the mount was overkill as I only had a 12" f6.3 newtonian on it back in the day. If not sold at this price I will not reduce further as I believe it's already an absolute bargain.
