From what you say about the "tired light" theory, the photons would be losing the energy themselved, i am stating that photons are stripped of their energy by some technology.
My theory only affects the interpetation of data from quasars, i do not disagree with the expanding universe theory. By my theory predicts quasars are a lot closer than predicted, the accepted theory is that they are objects moving away at large speeds (up to 0.8c as i recall) and this high speed gives the redshift we observe, i am merely proposing that this redshift could also be a result of some photons losing energy.
