What’s your approx payload weight using the 10” carbon fibre newt and all AP gear ??
I use an 8” f5 Bintel GSO newt on my EQ6-R at a payload of around 14kg. The mount tracks and guides beautifully with 14kg on board , don’t know how it would perform up towards its rated load of 21 kg ??

Hi Martin,
Thanks for that. The Sidereal Newt with camera, filters, OAG etc comes to about 18kg. It all work well on the EQ6-R as long as there is no wind. I dream of a Paramount MyT though... and an observatory...
