Depends on the device. Win10 is great on a newer pc/ laptop for usual business.
If you have an old laptop or mini pc lying around to convert to astro use , Ubuntu with KStars Ecos works fine where win 10 is just not possible and is surprisingly easy. Even works on macs I am told. Might try that next.
