My last C/2020 Swan

This is my final C/2020 Swan attempt.

Despite getting up at 3am yet again and leaving my mount setup outside and telescope & camera ready and waiting in the garage, I had mount slewing problems that ended up being caused by a corrupt Logitech hand controller configuration. Anyway I managed to get 25 minutes imaging in of the 60 I was hoping for.

This is with a Saxon 127mm triplet refractor with 0.7x reducer (666mm FL) and a Central DS Canon 6D running at -4 degrees Celsius.

I managed to track the comet's head in PHD for most of the session and then got a few images tracking the stars and blended the two image sets in Photoshop.

Here's the slightly better astrobin version which shows the coma surrounding the comets nucleus clearer
