As a former Boilermaker and Pipe Welder in the oil/petroleum, power station and shipbuilding industry and as an astronomer and ATM'er for over 55 years, I can custom-make any size pier, mount of any design from SS, Mild steel, or Alum. Whether its to take a few kgs to a few tons, it does not faze me. I also do metal turning and threading.

There's an old Chinese saying: 'A tree is only as strong as its roots are deep' Simply put, the more beefier the pier is, the more stability and strength the mount head has under it.
