I've had work and family commitments and it was my son’s birthday yesterday, so I’ve been finishing off some chocolate cake whist putting the mount together as promised. Sorry for the delay! As previously mentioned this hardware has been packed away for over a decade.

I found the original Anssen Technologies web page (click the Alhena link) that goes into a lot of detail here: https://web.archive.org/web/20041126...et.au/~anssen/

I've taken photos with and without the worm wheel and motor covers. The RA and Dec wheels are larger than you'd find on almost any mount. I have the digital encoders and you can see from the photos there are multiple ways to connect to additional electronics. The encoders attach internally and there are covers that finish them off nicely.

The mount head alone weights 35Kg , this is not an easily portable mount! There are 4 counterweights (2x8Kg and 2x6Kg) and the pier with legs, and a printed instruction manual. I fired up the FS2 today and it still works fine and I slued the RA and Dec around with it, no problems.

$3500 for the the lot except the FS2 or $4000 with. The FS2 is already set up to work with this mount, and will also work with the digital encoders although I never got around to getting cables for those. Absolute bargain as the FS2 was originally $2,300. Not sure how much freight will cost, lets talk. If your fairly close I'd be happy to drop off for petrol money :-)
