Once again the core of the Milky way is rotating into view....along with its cast of beautiful and bright southern nebulae.
I managed to get a tad more M8 h-alpha data...with the grand plan to make this a colour vista "real soon now"....but with clouds /rain and a waxing Moon this may take a while...
What surprised me about the data here are the ionization fronts within M8. Hinted at elsewhere, but rarely so obvious as seen here (yes, I did push the contrast a tad
