i believe they haven't updated the manual to their latest version. Don't rely on the manual. I havent' really played around with DSLR Focus all that much due to the poor melb weather lately but to get focus, go into focus mode. You have to take random shots at the sky eg: 2-4 seconds , and focus in on a bright star manually until you see diff spikes (if you are using a newt) or place fishing wires infront of a refractor. I havent tried using the camera in my scope as of yet (just purchased my t-mount ring and prime focus adapter the other day). Only thing i have tried is wide-field shots at 55mm.
