Thanks mate, actually I googled helicoid focuser today and ended up on
ebay as well. That looks really interesting. I wonder if it would handle a bit of load though.
Here's my AO setup into the Moonlite that I'm trying to get rid of. So remove the whole flange + the red focuser and the AO will be close to flash with the visual back, brings the CCD plane of the QHY9 after the OAG to ~140mm which is the sweet spot I image at right now without the AO.
