Using a DSLR running at 25C + you need plenty of good dithered subs to extract the detail from the noise , 2hrs is a minimum on these galaxies, + 3hrs is ideal. The hardest issue is sub lengths. Depending on conditions ( seeing, outside ambient temperature, humidity etc.. ) I’m finding more 3 minute subs are slightly better than a lesser amount of 5 minute subs at same integration time
My next project hopefully Friday night is to capture NGC 4945 Tweezers galaxy or Golden coin galaxy. A very dim galaxy at mag 9.5
