I'm going to do the Philip Davis long exposure mod to my ToUcam when it arrives next week. I'd like to do a far neater job than what he shows on his website (wire diameter far too large with big ugly blobs of solder) - and that would include using small-gauge single-core insulated wire rather than what he used in the photos. I used to have heaps of this stuff having worked as an IBM CE back in the 80's, but don't know where it's all gone.
I've tried the usual places like Jaycar and DSE but they don't stock it any more - which is logical as wire-wraps are probably not really in fashion any more. I can get small-gauge wire, but not single-strand.
Anyone able to advise?
