I shut down my PC as usual last night, but when I went to turn it on today all I get is the power and HD LEDs coming on and the CD-ROM read LED flashing briefly. No fans turn on and the hard drives don't fire up either. I can turn the LEDs off by holding the power button for several seconds.
Anyone have any idea what possessed my puter?
The PC is little over 2 y.o. with an AMD Athlon XP 2500 CPU on an Nvidia M/B.
PS. I am writing this post on a Pentium-2 Omnibook with 32MB of RAM and a 2G HD. It works but very slow because it's swapping all the time.
