well the night has come and the clouds cleared. Had every thing out at sunset just waiting for darkness. Did a 2 star align and worked well, everything spot on for a while. Was looking about orion and decided to head else where, unfortunatly the GOTO didn't agree and everything i told it to go to it thought it was already at. Dunno why, so i re aligned and continued on.
Saturn was very nice, otherwise not much else. Full moon didnt help at all. My backyard is also a astronomers worst nightmare so could only look at things high up. Then was heading back to saturn when i heard a crack!!!!!! the power cable had gotten wrapped around the stand and eventually snapped off in the AC port. Bit of a downer. Sound be able to rewire it tomorrow.
Might head off to some darker skies tomorrow, but then again it'll be full moon so viewing will be limited.
