M42

Last chance at clear sky last night so I gave the 150ED a run on M42 which was about 30 degrees away from the moon. This is 9x1 minutes so I could keep the Trapezium visible. The main stars are still blown out so I'm going to try some shorter exposures.

I tried 1 sec on the Homunculus (eta carinae) but that was too long as it was blown out.
