Meade #1A Skylight Filter & Dust Seal for the Rear Cell of Meade LX Series Telescopes



The Meade #1A Skylight Filter threads onto the rear cells of all Meade LX-series telescopes, effectively sealing the interior of the telescope from dust.
Visual backs, T-adapters and other devices thread onto the rear of this filter(which duplicates the scope's 2.00" rear cell threading), and all visual and astrophotography accessories except Barlows can be used as normal. Barlows can be used if they are short enough to be installed into the star diagonal, as opposed to the scope's rear cell.
The Meade #1A filter increases visual and photographic contrast, decreases glare, and helps to penetrate haze.
