I think I mentioned a few times last year and the year before that I image In Sydney under Bortle 8 with my 600D (no filters ) and get great results with Startools
The wipe module and few other modules remove most of the gradients without sacrificing your data
It’s worth looking into if you have the inclination and time
Ivo Jager the developer provides great support too
I’ve just upgraded to Version 1.5 but haven’t done any imaging for 2 months due to the fires to experiment with the new version.The new version is getting positive feedback
