We interrupt your scheduled service to bring you this rendition of NGC 1977, aka the Running Man.
I've started to feel like shooting some nebulae lately and NGC 1977 is first cab off the rank.
Had never planned to get a lot of data on this, but was hoping for a couple more. For some reason SGP failed the meridian flip though so I got less than expected. This is a mere 3.4hrs, though thankfully a bright enough target that it still looks ok.
I've now also got H and O filters again so I may well do some narrowband (different target) soon as the moon phase is starting to become disagreeable for LRGB, but the forecast suggests we'll have some clear skies.
