Bhatinov Question
I think I already know the answer to this question but, thought I'd post it here anyways as it's been playing on my mind...
So, I have a Bhatinov mask that was 3d printed for an Orion Short Tube refractor I was using as a starting point some while back.. the Short tube is an 80mm, FL400, f5 scope.
I then got hold an 80mm Meade Triplet FL480mm, f6. The Bhatinov above doesn't fit over the dew shield but, it does slot neatly inside the dew shield & with the attachment of some cord, can be easily fitted & removed for focusing purposes...
In the short amount of time I've been able to use it I have not noticed any focus issues but, can someone way smarter than me confirm or otherwise that the Bhatinov designed for an 80/400 scope will be working just fine in an 80/460 scope...
or, have I got this wrong & it absolutely doesn't....
