Effects of libration

Wow - that is a stunning image of a very interesting region of the Moon. Seeing your image made me go and check a mosaic of a similar region that I captured on 18th Feb 2006 and the difference between the 2 images due to libration are quite pronounced. Your image "looks further" over the horizon and reveals and distinguishes mountains that were not visible in my mosaic.
Here is my mosaic showing the region at a less favourable libration. Interesting comparison.
