Warm fresh to strong north to northwest winds, gale force over the southern Alps at first, ahead of the change, fresh to strong in the far southeast.

Isolated showers in the northeast, contracting further north during day. Fine elsewhere. Mild to warm southwest to southeast winds, turning east to northeast later.
